I was so excited for these boots... I was on a waitlist and ordered the moment they arrived. The leather is so soft, they're fully lined, and they black details on the shoe are all rubber, so they're going to last a long time in our salty Edmonton winters. There are two things to note about the boots when it comes to sizing and features. I have a somewhat wide foot, and these fit a bit narrow at first. They do stretch out and are now very comfortable after one wear. Even though I asked about sizing, I was told to take my regular shoe size... and that was not correct. These fit large, and if you're debating sizes, size down! As for the feature it's missing... it's a loop for the tongue to stay in place! The leather is so soft, and the tongue slides around so much. Unfortunately it's really bothering me because if I wear them for 10 minutes walking, the tongue literally slides so far to one side that it's almost under my foot! I'll be taking these to a cobbler to see if they can add a loop to the tongue, otherwise I'm going to have exposed socks and wet feet! PLEASE fix this when you make the next batch! One other thing to consider is that if you have narrow feet, beware of the space at the back of the heel. There is a lot of extra space even for me. I'd love to recommend these boots because they're almost perfect, but I think until the sliding tongue is addressed, I can't!
